HIV & MEDICAL CONDITIONS (Co-Risk Life Insurance)
“Things Have Changed – Part Nine” … Commentary by Chris Morgan
What to do if your declined for Life Insurance and have multiple medical conditions?
Many people will be aware that I’ve been consulting with the Life Insurance Industry regarding HIV related matters since 2005. During this last 17 years, I’ve witnessed literally thousands of applications for Life Insurance that have been declined, postponed or accepted with amended terms.
Many of these applications were declined because the person had multiple medical conditions on their file, which meant they were considered too high risk for Life Insurance. Unusual Risks are aware of significant number of people who were declined in the past due to their diagnosis of HIV combined with conditions such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Diabetes Type 1, Diabetes Type 2, Syphilis or Tuberculosis.
For the last two decades I have been leading a campaign to achieve equality for people living with HIV when they apply for Life Insurance. Finally, we are now able to offer Life Insurance for people with Co-Risk Medical conditions – even if you have multiple medical conditions or have been declined elsewhere before, be sure to try again with us.
