About
Positive Finance is the UK’s online finance magazine for people living with HIV, covering subjects such as Income Protection, Critical Illness Cover, Life Insurance, & Life Assurance,
We originally started in 1999 as a content provider for HIV magazines such as Baseline and Positive Nation magazines, but over the years we have evolved into an online blog & magazine with articles covering HIV & Insurance issues.
Our editor, Chris Morgan has been advising people living with HIV in various forms for over 25 years. He was part of the industry consultation group that led to the introduction of HIV Life Assurance and HIV Life Insurance for people living with HIV in 2009.
He was a consultant to the Association of British Insurers for over five years (2004-2009) and served on their HIV Insurance Working Group.
Chris recently re-joined the ABI working group in 2017, assisting them with their latest Best Practice guidelines and agreeing to write a new HIV and Insurance consumer guide.
We are sponsored by Unusual Risks who are specialists at advising people about the availability of Income Protection, Critical Illness Cover, Life Insurance & Life Assurance for people living with HIV.
HIV & INSURANCE WORKSHOPS 2025
Unusual Risks have a long history of supporting worthy causes within the HIV communities.
Currently they are doing this through our educational programme for professionals, nurses, support workers and peer mentors – which is aimed at encouraging people with HIV to look after their financial future.
Chris is now again appearing in the new 2025 version of the “HIV & Insurance” Workshops, which have new content and information about Insurance Products for the HIV Community.
If you would like to book Chris Morgan for public speaking about HIV & Finance or arrange a HIV & Insurance Workshop for your charity or organisation.
