  • About

In March 1999, I opened a finance practice with the specific aim of providing financial advice without discrimination towards a person’s employment status, ethnic origin, sexuality or health status. Since then, many HIV Positive people have approached me for advice and shared with me their sometimes unique and unusual personal circumstances.

These people challenged me to create specific advice for their needs, and look at financial planning from a different perspective. I’ve learnt a great deal about the changing lives of people living with HIV, and the best advice for these circumstances. From this came the introduction of Positive Finance which was a website specifically produced for a community who were rethinking their financial future.

Positive Finance is now a blog keeping people informed of the fast moving changes within the Mortgage and Insurance world for people with HIV. The introduction of HIV Life Assurance, HIV Life Insurance and HIV Mortgages has meant that for the first time HIV Positive people can protect their families and finance their homes. With insurance providers launching new products almost weekly, which ones should you choose? Our mission is to keep you informed ...

We are sponsored by Unusual Risks who have a long history of supporting worthy causes within the HIV communities. Currently we are supporting NAM AIDSMAP who work to change lives by sharing information about HIV and AIDS. They believe that, wherever you are in the world, having independent, clear and accurate information is vital in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

They make donations to NAM AIDSMAP for every HIV Life Assurance, HIV Life Insurance and HIV Mortgage policy they arrange on behalf of clients. You can find out more about the charities important work by visiting their website at www.aidsmap.com
